Renee brushed a lock of her long red hair out of her face and leaned forward. "Come on, Meghan," she said, "you should totally join Delta Theta. You know we have the coolest parties."
Meghan blushed and looked down at her coffee. She had had a crush on the older girl since they used to go to high school together, and Renee's posture, together with her low-cut shirt, gave Meghan a great view of the gentle curve of her friend's breasts. She had come to the New York Institute of Alchemy, where Renee was a sophomore, partly so she could be back together with her friend. Now Renee had joined one of the most exclusive sororities on campus, but Meghan was naturally shy. The party life intimidated her.
"I don't know, Renee." Meghan looked out the window at the sidewalk, where students were hurrying to and from class. "My Mom would probably be pissed. And I should really focus on schoolwork. I want to get into the Applied Magic program, and I hear it's really competitive."
